                The distance from NJP to Aritar is about 109 km. It takes about four and a half hours. Aritar is a small beautiful hill station in the Pakiyong district of East Sikkim. When visitors come to the mountains, it is not only the mountains that attract only the natural scenery but also the simplicity of the people here fills our minds with joy. You have to cross the green jungle of pine, oak, chestnut, and rhododendron to reach this Aritar.

                    The lovely hill resort of Aritar is defined by imposing Himalayan peaks, lush woods, pure glacial lakes, stunning monasteries, and a calming ambience. The region can rightly be dubbed a nature lover's utopia and a photographer's dreamy joy, as it sits on the eastern border of Sikkim, flanked on all sides by Mt. Kanchenjunga, leaving them all with a genuinely amazing holiday experience. The unrivalled tranquilly of this small Himalayan town, occasionally broken by light whispers of the winds, spirited music of bubbling streams, and playful chirps of colourful winged birds is a haven for soul seekers who come here to soak in the quiet of nature, free of the infuriating noises of the metropolis.

Lampokhari

                  Lampokhari is a stunning emerald boot-shaped lake that is said to be one of Sikkim's oldest lakes. It stands at a height of 4650 feet, with a length of 1125 feet and a width of 240 feet. Lampokhari  Lake, also known as Aritar Lake, is surrounded by lush green pine forests, adding to its beauty. The main attraction of this natural lake is its boating facilities, as well as a road that has been built around it to allow people to view it from various perspectives. On the lake's edge, there's also a modest shrine of Guru Padmasambhava.  The pine forest that surrounds the lake adds to its allure and draws visitors in.

How to Reach

                Because this is a less-travelled town, there are just a few good lodging alternatives, such as budget to mid-range hotels, guesthouses, and homestays. Aritar is around 109 kilometres from NJP. If you're looking for travel directions to Aritar, be aware that the town is well connected by several modes of transportation. The 'Bagdogra Airport' in Siliguri, West Bengal, is the closest airport. Cabs, taxis, and state buses run at regular intervals from the airport, taking guests to their desired vacation destination in around 4 & a half hours. Those travelling by rail must disembark at the nearest rail station, 'New Jalpaiguri Station,' and complete the remainder of their journey by road, either by cab or bus.

                    Although I did visit Vizag several years ago. But the scenarios of Rishikonda Beach, Kailash Giri, and most of all Araku Valley still remain to this day especially when I was returning from Araku Valley by car. The rows of green hills never will be deleted from my mind till my death.

                Araku Valley is the heart of Andhra Pradesh is undoubtedly a stunner. Yet to be explored to its fullest potential, Araku Valley is one of the most spectacular holiday spots in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Surrounded by green mountains, green forests, foggy clouds and a pleasant climate, Araku Valley is a perfect escape for those who are tired of living a monotonous life.                     Araku Valley, 125 kilometers from Vishakhapatnam/Vizag, is a relatively unknown hill station that is usually visited by residents as a weekend retreat. If you're a traveler looking for privacy and tranquility, the Vistadome train departs Vishakhapatnam at 6.50 a.m. and travels via 58 tunnels and 84 bridges through stunning scenery to arrive in Araku in about 5 hours 30min. 

            Araku Valley, nestled in the moderate hills of the Eastern Ghats, is also home to a number of tribes. A few tribal caves and the Museum of Tribal Arts, both of which are worth visiting, are also located in this valley. This location is well-known for its superb coffee, whose gentle aroma will tempt you to order a cup. Aside from being a stunning vista point, you may also try your hand at a variety of adventure sports such as trekking and swimming.                     The Tadimada Waterfalls are a sight to see that will make you fall in love with them right away. Hiking is the best way to see what nature has to offer at Ananthagiri Waterfalls, also known as Ananthagiri Waterfalls.

                The breathtaking view of the seas rushing from 100 feet above is soothing to the spirit. The water is clean enough to bath, however, it is a bit dirty. The Tadimada Waterfalls, with its breathtaking views, is surely one of Araku Valley's top picnic places.

            The Chaparai waterfalls, also known as the Dumbriguda waterfalls, are a popular weekend attraction and a prominent location for the Telugu film industry, located approximately 15 kilometers from Araku.

            With such a tranquil setting, you'll find a number of local vendors selling specialties such as grilled chicken and kulfi. Sunrise or sunset are the greatest times to experience nature at its most intimate level. Because the water is not excessively deep or slippery, one can even take a swim.

Bheemili Beach

                The origin of the River Gosthani, Bheemunipatnam, is located near Bheemili Beach in Vishakhapatnam District's Araku Valley. A fort and cemetery, as well as remnants of 17th century British and Dutch settlements, can be found here.

                A lighthouse and a small harbor are found on the picturesque Bheemli beach. As a tourist attraction, a beach park has recently been created on the Vishakhapatnam - Bheemili beach road. Water sports are also available at this beautiful beach. Both East India Companies operated trading ports here throughout the colonial era.

Padmapuram Gardens

                    Many people that visit Araku Valley consider the Padmapuram Gardens to be a must-see. The garden has a beautiful rose garden, treetop cabins, and a delightful toy train for rides around it, as well as a diversity of flora.

                    The garden, which was created in 1942 on a 30-acre site to supply food and vegetables to World War II soldiers, was later converted into a horticultural nursery with a training centre. The variety of flower types and trees provides a visual feast, which can be enhanced by staying in one of the ten-foot-high hanging homes.

Tribal Museum

                    The Araku Tribal Museum, which was founded in 1996 by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, depicts Andhra Pradesh's tribal culture. The museum displays kitchenware, jewelry, hunting tools, and wedding images to give visitors a flavour of traditional tribal life.

                    The museum, which is about 220 meters from the Araku bus station, is not historical, but it was built to educate people about the tribal way of life by displaying the lifestyles of roughly 20 tribes who live in the area. Surprisingly, the museum has a fortune teller with a parrot who only speaks the local dialect and whose predictions are said to be accurate.

Best Time to Visit

                    The months of September through February are the greatest for visiting Araku Valley. After December, it gets quite cold here, with temperatures as low as 4/5 degrees Celsius. However, many tourists prefer to visit Araku after August, especially after the monsoons have passed. Driving across its lush green fields, with the usual fragrance of moist soil and a yellow surface layer of the washed harvest till the horizon, has a certain allure.

Nearest Railway Station: Visakhapatnam

Airport: Visakhapatnam has its own domestic and international airport which connects it to all major Indian cities.

Internal Services: Different buses, auto-rickshaws, and cabs are available for internal travel. The surrounding areas are secluded and free of human intervention. The various trekking trails allow them to be explored on foot.

                Bamacharan was a man of different nature since childhood. He did not play any other game. He used to make idols of gods and goddesses and worship them. He sometimes wondered if they had been sitting in solitude for a long time in their Tara Mother's temple and in the crematorium of Tarapith. He did not like reading at all. He was very indifferent towards the natural world.

                Then one day His father Sarbananda passed away. Extreme hardship came down to their lives. After realizing everything, Bamacharan started cooking for Tara Maa. But His mind did not sit still. One day he went to cook and burned it. The temple authorities dismissed Him. However, He had no problem, He was happily spending His days chanting Tara Mother's name. Meanwhile, almost everyone at home had to spend their days fasting. Relatives all started making fun of them. But Bama had no idea or feeling.

                He then got the job of supplying flowers to the temple by the grace of the Queen of Natore. Although the lack of family was somewhat removed, He became more and more obsessed with the singing of TaraMother's name. He didn't want to stay at home anymore, just stayed at the crematorium and ate meals with dogs and goats. There was no difference between high and low class to Him. Only He was living by the name of the Mother's Tara. Sadhak Bamakshepa lived on earth for about 78 years.

                   Bamakshepa left home as a child and became a disciple of a monk named Kailashpati Baba. Kailashpati Baba lived in Tarapith. Bamakshepa performed yoga and tantra-sadhana on the banks of the river Dwarka at Tarapith. He later went to Maluti (now in Jharkhand state), a temple village of the nearby Malla-kings, for yoga. There He stayed for about 18/19 months in the temple of Goddess Moulakshi on the banks of Dwarka.

                In the middle of the night of one of the new moons in the middle of the Bengali year 1264, Kailashpati Baba placed Bamacharan in the seat of Panchamundi placed by Basishta under the Shimul tree in the middle of the crematorium. Then He sat on that seat and attained Siddhi in the name of His Mother Tara and attained Bhairabatwa in Tarapith and became famous as Bamakshepa.

                    He gradually became the main religious figure of Tarapith. Devotees believed He had miraculous powers. So they would come to Him for medical treatment and other needs. Bamakshepa did not follow the rules of the temple. He would even pick up an offering from the Goddess's plate and ate it. It is said that the Goddess Maa Tara received a revelation from the queen of Natore in a dream that Bamakshepa should be fed first as the son of the Goddess. From then on, offerings were made to Bamakshepa before worship at the temple, and He was allowed to roam freely in the temple. It is further said that the Goddess visited Bamakshepa in a terrifying form and later took Him in Her womb. His memorial is at Tarapith crematorium and at Maluti village in Dumka district.

Tarapith and Crematorium

                According to folklore, after Sati's death in Daksha Yajna, Lord Shiva's insanity and Lord Vishnu's Sudarshan Chakra, when Sati's body was torn to pieces, at that very moment Sati's Third Eye fell on this Tarapith. Sage Basishta saw this for the first time and continued to worship Sati as their form. But he has remained in the background of preaching forever, yet the feature of the seat does not leave him, this is where his devotional feature exists.

                The peculiarity of this place is that if one pursues it, knowledge, joy, and fulfillment are obtained. But legend has it that when Vashishta Dev first started worshiping this Mother Tara, he failed. Going to Tibet, took advice from Vishnu incarnated Buddhadeva. Buddhadeva learns in a dream, that the perfect place is Tarapith, and Buddhadeva instructs to worship Taradevi with the Madyamansadi (wine-meat) Panchamakar (five types). Tara Maa was satisfied when the Basishtadeva was chanted 3,00,000 times at the behest of the Buddha.

                The Tarapith crematorium is located on the riverbank in one corner of the city. The crematorium is an integral part of Shakti Peetha. The human skeleton and crematorium are very dear to the Mother. The exact place of the action of the Tantra-sadhanas. Yet in the Bengali traditional land, the name of Her son Bamdev is associated with the merciful Goddess, here is the biographical success.

                Bangus means land covered with grass. From Srinagar in Kashmir, one has to reach the Big Bangus Valley through Handwara, Reshwari, Kistwar, Nildari. Soft grasslands like green carpets are lit up with wildflowers of various colors. Here and there flocks of sheep, goats, donkeys, and cows are roaming. The stream of water has gone through the heart of the valley. And trees lined up at the edge of the valley. It is home to several natural bodies and attractive sites, with "Bangus Valley" being one of them. With permission to follow the rules of Covid properly, there is no obstacle to roam in this heavenly kingdom.

                Bangus Valley, at an elevation of 10,000 feet above sea level, is nothing short of a mirror to the paradise on earth. The valley is located in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, roughly 128 kilometers from Srinagar. The Shamsbery mountains, Chowkibal Mountains, and Leepa valley encircle the valley on all sides. You may have heard of many famous Indian valleys, but this lovely grassland remains one of the best undiscovered and quirky destinations in the country.

                  The Bangus valley map covers around 290 kilometers of terrain and is separated into two major sections: the "Big Bangus" and the "Lokut Bang," also known as the "Small Bangus."

                 However, the beautiful and thrilling environment when one crosses Handwara, Reshwari, Kistwar, Nildari from Srinagar is not to be forgotten till the last day of life. The last short walk from Nildari is to reach the Bangus Valley. However, in the forest of Nildari, there is more variety of animals and birds. Leopards, snow leopards, brown and black bears, musk deer, blue foxes, and monkeys can be seen in this forest. But bears are more prevalent in the Bangus Valley.

Nigeen Lake

                Nigeen Lake is commonly mistaken for a component of the famed Dal Lake, however, it is really located to the west of it. The Bangus valley is about 5 kilometers away from Nigeen Lake. The lake is encircled by lovely alder and poplar trees and appears to be like a diamond in the centre. This is why it is known as the 'Nageena' or 'Nigeen' in the local tongue. The lake is a great place to visit if you're looking for a relaxing escape near Bangus.

Manasbal Lake

                Manasbal Lake is another lovely location that can be a fun activity for those seeking a day out in the Bangus area. The lake is located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu & Kashmir, around 20 kilometers from the valley. The Manasarovar lake is supposed to have inspired the anime for this lake. Jarokbal, Kondabal, Nesbal, and Gratbal are the four localities that surround the lake.

                If you apply with Govt. identity card with 2 copies of passport size photo, this permission letter can easily be get. However, due to defense restrictions on the border with Pakistan, there may be some uncertainty sometimes. Big Bangus travelers will get this permit from the Handwara SP office and small Bangus travelers will get this permit from the Kralpora SP office or TP police station.

Time to Visit

                Although you can visit Bangus Valley at any time of year, the ideal time to see the beautiful valleys, short hills, and lush green grasses is between April and October. Bangus valley's photos at this time of year, and one surely falls in love with the scenery.

                    The Bangus valley is easily accessible by bus, train, or airline. Srinagar is the nearest city to the valley and has all of the necessary transportation services. The distance between Kupwara and Srinagar is 85-90 kilometers, and it takes about 2.5-3 hours to travel by car.

• Srinagar is the nearest airport (92 kms).

It is an ancient culture of the Hindus, especially of the Vaishnava community, to place a sacred Tulsi (basil) tree in the temple premises and in the courtyard, to worship it, and to hold a garland of Tulsi wood around the neck. But why Tulsi is given special status despite being a tree is unknown to many. So what is the identity of Tulsi in this article? How did Tulsi (basil) appear on earth? How did basil become a tree? Why is Tulsi (basil) a tree but world worship? What is the need to memorize the basil wood garland? etc. is discussed here.

Introduction

In general, Tulsi (basil) is a fragrant and medicinal plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family. Its scientific name Ocimum sanctum (sanctum means holy place) has been worshiped as a sacred tree in almost every Hindu household since time immemorial. Basically, Tulsi is a lover of Lord Krishna as part of Srimati Radharani. She is known as Tulsi because she is the holiest of all the goddesses and there is no comparison between her in the whole world.

And because She gives devotion to Krishna, She is also called Vaktidevi, or devotion deity. At the behest of Vrindadevi, in Vrindavan, leaves, flowers, fruits, beetles, deer, peacocks, vultures, etc., also bear the most beautiful adornment in the Lord Krishna's Kelikunj, the ever-springing. At the beginning of creation, in the first step of Swayambhuva Manvantar, She emerged from Yagnakund as Vrindadevi, the daughter of the king of Kedar. The forest in which he performed austerities is known as Vrindavan. In Sri Krishna Chaitanyalila, Brindadevi appeared as Mukunda Das.

The messenger of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna's various Leelas and always likened to the Leelas, this Vrindadevi is full of love in the union of Radha-Krishna. Therefore, especially to the Gaudiya Vaisnavas, Tulsi is highly revered and revered.

How did Tulsi appear on earth?

Radhakrishna's ever lover and slave Tulsi Maharani i.e. Vrindadevi appeared at different times in the world for the welfare of human beings. Therefore, various events are described in the Puranas about the advent of Tulsi in the world. The same Tulsi Devi (deity) has sometimes appeared as the wife of Jalandhar, sometimes as the wife of Shankhachur, again, sometimes as the wife of Dharmadeva, sometimes as the daughter of Dharmadhvaja, sometimes as the daughter of Chandrabhanu, and sometimes as the daughter of Kedarraj. But in this case, it must be known that each of these daughters is a Vrindadevi and she was devout of Krishna in every birth.

What happens if one worships Tulsi?

In the house where the basil tree is located, the sin of killing is annihilated by the sight and touch of it. In every planet, village, or forest where the Tulsi tree exists, Lord Sri Hari lives in that state with love.

Revered Tulsi, the holiest Nun among all the leaves and flowers. It is Vaishnavism, Vishnupriya (Lover of Vishnu), and absolute bliss in all worlds. Wherever there is a Tulsi forest, there is Lord Keshav (Krishna) and there is Brahma, Kamala (Lakshmi), and all the other deities. Therefore, Tulsi Devi will always be worshiped.

"A human being who worships God with the leaves of basil (Tulsi) every day will surely get the result of his lakhs of Ashwamedha Yagna." Thus many Mahatmas of Tulsi Puja has been glorified in the scriptures. Namacharya Srila Haridas Thakur always chanted Harinam with Tulsi in front of him. Parameswara Bhagavan Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Namacharya Haridas Tagore, Lord Shiva-Parvati, even Smt. Radharani taught humans through the serve of Tulsi leaves. Therefore, every person who wants to attain the bliss of Krishna should worship Tulsi Devi regularly.

• In order to present oneself in a special way, various ornaments can be seen on the body of modern men and women - various ornaments made of wood, clay or metal and in the shape of human skeletons. But even if it is easier to attract people's attention in these bizarre outfits, is there any opportunity to achieve spiritual welfare through it? However, the Vedic scriptures also have clear instructions in this regard and it is not for the modern heartless folklore, but by holding it both our external and internal welfare is achieved. Basil garland is one of them. Now the question is what is the need to hold the basil garland?

• Where in the scriptures is it necessary to contain basil garland? The answer is simple, just as one can be a policeman without wearing a police uniform, but one can easily identify whether one is a policeman by his attire, similarly, it is easy to see by looking at the Tulsimala on one's neck that he is a Vaishnava.

• Srila Prabhupada said that if a dog has a belt around its neck, it is understood that it has an owner, then no one teases or harms him. In the same way, looking at the Tulsi mala (basil garland) on one's neck, it is understood that he is a devotee of God and as a result of being a devotee of God, the messengers of Yamraj never touch him.

• Moreover, it is undeniable that outward attire certainly affects a person's mind. For example, the attitude is the same when wearing ordinary home clothes, again, when the same person wears pants, shirt, coat, suede, watch, tie around his neck, it must have an exceptional effect on his mind. If you don't have any personal experience in this regard, you can check and verify today. Likewise, even if one's piety does not depend solely on one's appearance, it does help to maintain one's piety.

• Besides, Tulsi (basil) is very dear & near to God. Therefore, by holding the most beloved Tulsi mala around the neck, one can become the recipient of God's attention and grace by the grace of Tulsi Devi, just as one can earn the love of the mother of that child through love or become the beloved vessel. According to the scriptures, everything in basil is sacred. So we become holy by holding Tulsimala (basil garland). Every time a person who wears holy Tulsimala bathes, he gets the result of bathing in Ganga, because Tulsi (basil) is as holy as Ganga.

• Basil garland and Tilak are the signs of Vaishnavism.

                    If the Covid situation is somewhat normal, if you have a similar plan, you can choose Kibber or Kiber village. The village is located near the Spiti Valley, which is a very popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh.

                Kibber or Kyibar is an established high in the Spiti Valley in the Himalayas at about 14,200 feet in Himachal Pradesh in northern India. It features a monastery and the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. It's 18 kilometers from Kaza, and during the summer, a bus service connects these two. Agriculture is the backbone of the local economy, and there are plenty of lush green fields.

                The Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary was founded in 1992 and has an elevation range of 3,500-6,500 meters above sea level. The vegetation is scarce here, yet it has a lot of medicinal value. Himachal Pradesh's wildlife wing of the forest department identified snow leopards here.

                Kibber is about 14,200 feet high. Tourists from other countries also come here to visit the Buddhist Monastery here. Many people also come here to see the wildlife. There is something beyond that that makes Kibber absolutely unique. The post office in this village is the highest Post Office in the world. It is reached by the Highest Motor Road in the world. Chicham Bridge also on this way, it is the Highest Bridge in Asia.

                        The houses in the village of Kibber are of Tibetan descent. Situated in the middle of a cold desert, this village is very attractive for photographers. The people here live mainly in agriculture. The locals of the village have accommodation at home. But keep in mind, no one lives in this village in winter. Then the local people came down to a lower area. So it is possible to go here in summer.

How to Reach

                It is very easy to reach here from Kaza in Himachal Pradesh by bike or at home. Only 18 kilometers of road. If you want to get on the bus after Kovid's panic subsides, that's possible too. Spiti Valley buses reach this village.

                No one lives in this village in winter due to heavy snowfall. Then the local people came down to a lower area. So it is possible to go here in summer.

                Pancha means five and Tatva/Tatwa means truth or reality. According to Gaudiya Vaisnavism, the five incarnations of God (Krishna) who appeared on earth in the Fifteenth Century are Panchatatva. They were Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Sri Nityananda, Sri Advaita Acharya, Sri Gadadhar Pandit and Srinivas Tagore.

                Sachchidananda Bhagavan Sri Krishna always abides with Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. His part manifests as Srinityananda Prabhu, his incarnation as Sri Advaita Prabhu, his intimate power as Srigadadhar Prabhu, and his adjoining power as Srivas Prabhu. We worship that Mahaprabhu and those five forms of Lord.

                Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Himself as the Supreme Lord is in the middle of all. We need to know that these theories always exist with Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. For this reason, when we worship Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with all these theories, our worship is fulfilled.

The Reasons for the Creation of Panchatatva

            To fulfill the desires of the three matters, Krishna of Vrindavan became Gaud (Mahaprabhu). 

1.     To spread God's name (Hare Krishna Naam), love & affection.

2.     How much did Srimati Radha Rani love him in Vrindavan?

3.     How much happiness did Radharani get in love with Krishna?

                   Again we find in Chaitanya Charitamrita, Adileela, 4th Chapter --

                This incarnation in the preaching & to promote God's love & His name (Hare Krishna Naam). This is the truth but it is an external matter and has another internal reason.

                All these actions are done to kill the Asuras/demons, this was His extra work. But the Avatar for the main reason was to taste the love extract. Rag-Marg* Devotion to propagate or promote among the people.

* Rag-Marg Devotion - This is only for residents of Vrindaban. As they knew nobody except Sri Krishna, they did not know who is God? whether Krishna is God nor not. They knew Krishna is their friend, their lover, their son, nothing else. They loved Krishna without any reason, which is called Ahoituki prem-bhakti.

Determination of Panchatatva

                    This world is made up of five Tatva (theories). Earth, Water, Energy, Wind, and Sky-tatva. The five incarnations who came together, each of them as a tatva or theory.

Mahaprabhu           - the trumpet is pure Krishna, the theory of Wind, that is, the air of life.

Nitai Prabhu           - Soil tatva (theory), that is, to contain or hold everything.

Advaita Prabhu     - Sky Tattva i.e. a big zero energy.

Gadadhar Prabhu - Energy tatva i.e., can contain/hold the Almighty.

Srinivas                   - Water theory means calm, pure, love, and devotion.

                Although Krishna Himself is the One and Only (Aditiyam). He is one, again He has become many for Leelas. Everything is created from Krishna & buried in Krishna also. So He Himself is all theories. But different devotees, take different of His forms, just try to analyze His theories or tatvas.
